
HotelAdvice was approached by the owning family in early 2024 and was ready to represent them from the season beginning and reopening of the hotel.
The first step was to remove staff living in a couple of hotel rooms, get the rooms ready as saleable rooms for season, and the season was extended a couple of weeks compared to previous years.
Whilst the demand was good, it was mainly repeat guests and agency leisure travelers. The strategy was changed to open for several new distribution channels and much increased digital marketing spend for more direct bookings. Demand quickly became excessive, so selling rates was hiked significantly compared to previous years. Working closely with Management the business grew well above expectations.
